Understanding your needs

We aim to meet with all our clients in their home to discuss exactly what their needs are and to offer a ‘point of contact care service’ for each delivery. We would look to liaise with our customers carers, care service providers and relatives to ensure that when Dan, Jen or any of our drivers arrive at a delivery and feel there is a health concern, we will contact the relevant support network for that customer.

Nan’s Family

We understand that we may be one of the only people some of our customers may get to see each day, so we hope this caring customer service will make everyone involved feel a part of ‘Nan’s Family Kitchen’. We hope that this will reassure distant family members that their family who are using Nan’s Family Kitchen are receiving the best personal service and at the same time, eating consistently nutritious home cooked meals.

Delivery Assurance

Our drivers will always arrive with a lanyard with an ID card attached. All our staff are DBS checked and cleared. We aim to have the same delivery driver, delivering to the same customers, and should there be a change in driver, we will contact and notify you.

Menu 1 – Week 1 & 2

Heart-warming Cottage pie

served with green beans

Macaroni and cheese

with your choice to add either bacon, ham or veg

Chicken casserole

served with a suet dumpling

Fish chowder

we use locally sourced fish from the bay (no shellfish)

Cheese and Broccoli quiche

served with a side salad

Homemade fish cakes

2 fishcakes served with mash potato broccoli and carrots

Seafood Chowder

this will include shellfish

Sausage Mash and Peas

served with onion gravy

Faggots

served with roasted butternut squash, mash and onion gravy

Lasagne

served with a side salad

Chicken, Beef or Gammon roast dinner

with all the trimmings

Please note
All our main meals are £6.99 and there is a minimum order of £20 per client per week. We only deliver Roast dinners on Sundays and all orders need to be placed by Sunday 12 noon for the following week. Our Roast dinners are charged at £8.99.

Menu 2 – Week 3 & 4

Sausages casserole

served with green beans and new potatoes

Sweet and Sour Chicken

served with fluffy rice

Fish pie

served with creamed spinach

Steak and Ale Pie

Served with mash potato and broccoli (gravy is optional)

Broccoli and cheese Quiche

served with a side salad

Sausages

2 sausages served with mash potato, peas and Dans Yorkshire pudding

Chicken Stew

served with a suet dumpling

Cod or Smoked Haddock

with a homemade parsley sauce, broccoli, and sautéed potatoes

Cornish Pasty

served with a side salad

Mild chicken curry

served with fluffy rice

Our lite bites, soups and sandwiches are all £3.99 and are always available for order.
